The Playground lets you try out the ROOPL programming language in your browser without having to install anything. You are able to run, invert and compile a ROOPL program.
The ROOPL Playground has been created by Lasse Hay-Schmidt as part of a project outside course scope.
Code examples can be found in the Examples dropdown in the menu. These examples consists of some smaller and trivial programs, for showing syntax, and larger and more complex programs.
When running the code, the result is displayed in a pane below the code.
For program inversion, you can use the Invert button, which returns the inverted program.
Compilation of a ROOPL program to PISA is also possible by using the Compile button. This returns the compiled program as a file download as it is quite large (even for smaller programs).
If the program parsing/execution fails, an error will be shown in a red output pane. The error will show the cause and provide a stack trace and program state at each trace.
